For the most versatile and flexible LED display solutions, Southard Audio offers large inventories of Absen X5V for outdoor use, and the very high resolution Absen A2 Pro for venues not affected by weather. These modular systems are assembled on site from individual panels, and offer the advantage of scalability and wide design choices. Modular LED walls can be built to any size and shape the rigging infrastructure and venue limitations will allow.
The X5V is a bright, rugged, waterproof LED panel designed to withstand outdoor use. The unique shape of these panels (500mm X 562.5mm) allows these modules to be assembled into perfect 16:9 aspect ratio walls, allowing the most common broadcast images to be displayed without cropping or stretching, but can still be built to any size or shape as desired. The X5V is fully serviceable from the rear of the panel, allowing service and repair to be done without disassembling the wall. The X5V can be flown from venue ceiling grids, from stage LED bays, and various ground support systems.
The A2 Pro is a very high resolution (2mm dot pitch) scalable LED panel most often used indoors. The resolution of these LED panels allows close viewing without pixelation, while providing a bright, clear, high definition image at any distance. All of the flying options listed above for the X5V apply to the A2 Pro as well, and additionally we offer a frameless ground support option for walls up to 16’ X 9’. The A2 Pro is perfect for any size indoor concert or event, rally or worship service, trade show booths, movie playback, just to name a few.
